Empowering College Students with Knowledge About Pregnancy Options

At A Better Choice, our mission is to provide clear, evidence-based information so you can understand the risks and explore all paths—because true empowerment comes from knowing all the facts.

Empowerment Starts Here

True empowerment for women comes through making choices that align with responsibility, respect for your body and life, and healthy relationships. Let’s ensure women have access to the full range of information, including the potential risks and consequences of their healthcare decisions.

What We Provide

Free Pregnancy Services
An unplanned pregnancy in college can come with extra complications – what if you’re underinsured, living far from home, or don’t want your parents to find out before you make your decision? Our FREE and CONFIDENTIAL services will make sure you get a pregnancy confirmation, options consultation, dating ultrasound, and continued follow-up, without having to pay a dollar or file with your parents’ insurance. We’re just a short drive from your college campus, at Central and Hillside in Wichita.
Options Consultations
Our options consultations are truthful and you won’t be met with judgment or pressure. We do not profit off of any decision you make. We are a safe space of women supporting women and our goal is to give you the space and the knowledge needed to make a decision confidently – not based out of fear or shame. An options consultation will be personalized to your exact situation – your insurance, relationship, living situation, job, immigration status, and more – because no two stories are the same.

Why It Matters

The Risks of Abortion

Abortion is often presented as a safe and easy choice, but it’s a medical procedure with potential risks. Physical complications can include infection or excessive bleeding, while emotional impacts like anxiety or regret are also common. Understanding these risks is crucial for making a fully informed decision.

Beyond Abortion

There’s more to pregnancy decisions than just one option. Parenting, adoption, and other paths offer different possibilities. Each comes with its own challenges and benefits—knowing them all equips you to advocate for truly empowered choices. Knowing the unique local resources available to you can also make a difference in the feasibility of each option.
